Nu Face Model Search

Nu Face Model Search is in its third season! The model search and reality TV series that began two years ago has expanded its reach. Last years’ top winner, Jenelle Hollingsworth made the cut for Caribbean’s Next Top Model (a branch of America’s Top Model) to air later this year. The show has also extended broadcast throughout the Caribbean to CaribVision and PTV8 (along with local broadcast on Cable 12).

“We recently visited Trinidad to record footage on another upcoming series (Nu Woman TV) and one night while back in the hotel I flicked on the TV only to see Season 1 of Nu Face Model Search being broadcast in Trinidad! That was a cool moment,” says Erica Meus-Saunders, Executive Producer of the show.

What’s new with Nu Face?

This year the show partners with PTG Modeling Agency and the winner not only receives the cover of Nu Woman Magazine and numerous prizes from sponsors, but also a 24 week scholarship with PTG Modeling Agency that will begin is September and will cover Basic Modeling and Life skills. Other sponsors include Hair International Salon & Spa, Cia Monet, Diva’s Loft and DC Technology.

Nu Face has also teamed up with local artist ‘Believe” who has produced an original sound track for the show.

“This year we wanted a themed piece of music, something that people could equate with Nu Face and we asked the artist Believe for some help and she delivered. On the same note, with the up coming *Nu Woman TV, we were also able to get an original introduction from Chris ‘Sketch’ Carey,” say Erica.
