Women’s Rowing Concludes Fall Slate at Rivanna Romp – Naval Academy Athletics

The Navy women's rowing program put the finishing touches on its 2021 fall campaign on Sunday with action at the Rivanna Romp. Racing on a four-mile stretch of the Rivanna Reservoir near the campus of the University of Virginia, the Mids went up against a strong field of perennial NCAA Championship competitors and ACC opponents in a head-style event. Of the seven teams racing at The Romp, five were ranked or received votes in the final top-20 poll at the conclusion of the 2021 spring season. Navy had four crews entered in action on Sunday, all racing in the varsity eight event. Navy's A crew led the way with an eighth-place result.
